Fundamentals of Lighting
The Fundamentals of Lighting course will cover topics: Light, Vision & Colour; Lighting Design Guide; Light Sources & Ballasts; Luminaires & Controls; Lighting Calculations & Photometry; Lighting for Interiors; Lighting for Exterior; Energy Management.

Intermediate Lighting Course
The intermediate Lighting Course is a 10 session course and will be held online. Upon successful completion of all three segments, a certificate will be awarded. This educational program is designed as the “next step” for those who already completed FOL-09 (ED100) or those with a number of years of experience in lighting. This course is a good next step for those preparing for the NCQLP – LC Exam.

LC Study Group
IES Vancouver is holding an LC (Lighting Certification) exam study group starting September 21st to help qualifying professionals prepare for the upcoming November 7th NCQLP examination. The study group is 7 sessions, each 3 hours long, and this year will be held via online web conferencing (ie. ZOOM).
